Last Sunday, an article came out in the Daily Courier. It was a well written article I thought, however, as you can read in the comments, the writer did not address the fact that the cookies are baked at the Prescott Racquet Club. I would love to meet the girl who shared the article with me, Black Crow Caramels.
From that article, I received several local orders and did my first deliveries this week! It worked out really well and I have a few more super happy customers out there.
Also this week, we launched our new and improved website. It took a lot of work and hours of frustration, but Oh Katie! Cookies now accepts major credit cards, Visa, Mastercard, and Discovery Card. (Does anyone really have a Discovery Card?)
Finally, last night I did an event down in Scottsdale for Girls Only Guide Out. It was a lot of fun! There were some great vendors. The best part? The event was held in front of Ling & Louie's Asian Bar and Grill and the General Manager, along with all the staff, flipped his lid over my cookies! He said he didn't know what or how, but he had to have my cookies in his restaurant. It was very exciting!
After the event ended, Kristi Trimmer, who came and helped me for the event, bought me a birthday dinner at Ling & Louie's. I can't tell you how neat it was to tell the hostess, as we were seated, to "let the GM know that Katie of Oh Katie! Cookies would love to see him when he gets a chance." And then to have him come right out and tell me how amazing my cookies are. It was all very exciting! Oh, and the food! One must try the F'n Loaded Sliders!
